These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between JMP NEXTGENPAY PRIVATE LIMITED ("NextGenPay", "we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN: U66190GJ2025PTC170905) with its registered office at 2nd Floor, 201, Devi Arcade, Ashwini Kumar Road, Modi Maholla, Surat, Gujarat – 395008, India, and you ("User", "you", or "your").
1. About our service
NextGenPay is a Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) agent institution operating on the BBPS network administered by NPCI Bharat BillPay Ltd. under authorisation from the Reserve Bank of India ("RBI"). We provide an interface that lets you discover billers, view bills and make payments through the BBPS network via our sponsor bank. We are not a bank, a payment aggregator, or a payment system operator ourselves.
2. Eligibility
You may use NextGenPay only if you:
- are 18 years of age or older;
- are competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872;
- are a resident of India using an Indian bank account or card;
- have not been previously suspended or removed from our services.
3. Account and KYC
- You must provide accurate, current and complete information when using our services.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Certain services may require verification of your identity ("KYC") as required by law, NPCI or our sponsor bank.
4. Payments, fees and taxes
- All payments are routed through the BBPS network. On successful payment, a BBPS Transaction Reference Number ("TRN") is generated and shared with you.
- Convenience fees, if any, are disclosed before you confirm the payment. Fees are governed by NPCI-BBPS circulars and our sponsor bank's schedule of charges. Goods and Services Tax (GST) applies where applicable.
- Once confirmed, a payment cannot be cancelled. In case of a failed payment where the amount is debited, refunds are handled per the Refund Policy.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide correct consumer/bill numbers; we are not responsible for wrong-account payments caused by incorrect data.
- Do not use NextGenPay for any unlawful, fraudulent or money-laundering purpose.
- Do not share your OTP, CVV, PIN, or credentials with anyone claiming to be from NextGenPay.
- Report any suspicious activity to care@nextgpay.in immediately.
6. Intellectual property
All content, trademarks, logos and software on NextGenPay are owned by or licensed to JMP NEXTGENPAY PRIVATE LIMITED. You may not copy, modify or distribute any part of our service without our prior written consent. BBPS, Bharat BillPay and related marks are trademarks of NPCI Bharat BillPay Ltd.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the convenience fee paid by you for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim, or ₹5,000, whichever is lower. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages.
8. Grievance redressal
We follow a four-level grievance redressal mechanism as required by NPCI-BBPS and the RBI Integrated Ombudsman Scheme, 2021. Full details are on our Grievance page.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Surat, Gujarat.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an on-site notice. Continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance.
